Charity/Fundraising

To put our faith into action we raise money for our various school charities by fundraising throughout the year through sponsored events, collections and specific GoFundMe sites. Over 2022-23, we have raised money for CAFOD, The Manna Centre in Southwark, the Catholic Children's Society and Crisis at Christmas.

Catholic Social Teaching

The Catholic tradition teaches that human dignity can be protected and a healthy community can be achieved only if human rights are protected and responsibilities are met. Therefore, every person has a fundamental right to life and a right to those things required for human decency.

The parish of Our Lady of La Salette proclaims the Good News of Jesus Christ, Son of God, who shared our human life and now reigns in glory. Trusting in the power of Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross, we support each other and look to the future with hope. Aware of our own weaknesses and failings, we offer a warm welcome to anyone who wants to return to the Faith or who wants to find out more about the Catholic Church.  The priest-in-charge is Fr Mark Powell OAR.
